Founding Therapist
I’m here to help you navigate the ups and downs and provide the tools you need to move forward with confidence. Whether you're facing trauma, anxiety, depression, military life stress, family dynamics, or major life changes, we’ll work together to explore your emotions and develop strategies that support your healing and growth.
As a strengths-based therapist, I believe in building on what’s already working for you. I’ll help you identify your strengths and use them to overcome the obstacles in your path. My approach is informed by trauma-sensitive, culturally responsive practices, attachment theory, family systems, CBT, and DBT, allowing me to tailor our work to best meet your unique needs.
Having worked in a variety of settings—hospitals, schools, nonprofits, community mental health, and now private practice—I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to reduce the stigma around asking for help. Growing up, I didn’t know support was available, and I want to ensure you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Let’s work together to find your path forward.

Why did you become a therapist?
My journey to becoming a therapist was deeply personal. Growing up, I saw firsthand the impact of a lack of mental health resources and safe spaces, especially for children and vulnerable individuals. I witnessed people struggling to find the support and understanding they needed, leaving them feeling isolated and overwhelmed. These experiences sparked a passion within me to fill that gap—to create a safe, compassionate space where individuals of all ages could feel seen, valued, and empowered to heal. I wanted to be part of the solution, offering the kind of care and support I had seen so many go without. This calling continues to drive me every day as I help others navigate their journeys toward growth, healing, and resilience.
What do you offer clients?
I offer a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions. Using personalized, evidence-based approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, I help with anxiety, stress, trauma, emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions. My goal is to empower you to grow, heal, and create meaningful change.

Why did you become a therapist?
Becoming a therapist was a very personal journey for me. As an active duty military spouse we often live with the expectation that we can handle it all, but sometimes we need help, and that help shaped my new life and as luck would have it, it led me to a career change; one that I am passionate about and one I fall more in love with every day.

Therapist
My clinical background includes advanced fellowship training in pediatric mental health at the Yale Child Study Center, where I currently remain affiliated as faculty. Many of the individuals and families I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed—by anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting challenges, or major life transitions. You may be noticing that your child is struggling emotionally or behaviorally, or you might be feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can make sense of what’s going on and begin to find relief, clarity, and direction.
I specialize in supporting children, teens, and families, and adults through trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I offer evidence-based care including TF-CBT, ERP for OCD, short-term trauma treatment with families, and parenting support grounded in attachment and relational approaches like Circle of Security and mentalization-based therapy.
I believe in collaborating on identifying the most effective approach and tailoring evidence-based treatments to meet your unique needs. Taking the first step toward support is often the hardest part.
